The Rockabye Baby Photography team is delighted to announce that Father Christmas and Mother Christmas will return to our studio this year again to bring some magic to kick start the holiday season on the third weekend of November!
This year's sessions are taking place in Father Christmas' winter penthouse, giving the perfect opportunity for your little ones to spend quality time with him, learn all about the relativity of time on Christmas eve and discover Father Christmas' Magic Hourglass! They will get the assurance that they are indeed on the 'Nice list' this year and will get a present straight from the North Pole while we capture beautiful keepsakes and one of a kind festive portraits for your families.

The bookings will open on Sunday 7th September. Every year, these sell in a matter of hours - mainly to our VIP list- so make sure that you subscribe to get your booking link early and get a chance to secure your preferred time slot!

Peppermint Plaza

Come and step into the most beautiful Christmas outdoor scene at the Peppermint Plaza! ​
With its striking snowy glow and shimmers of greens and reds, this enchanting festive setting will create the most amazing opportunities for fabulous festive photos in which the whole family is welcome to join.

With hot chocolate to cheer with, winter teddies to cuddle, snowballs to throw, the cutest red tricycle, our red fireman pedal car and a Magic post box to the North Pole to send your Christmas letter to the big man. Your children, big and small, are sure to have an amazing time while getting their photos taken.

FAQ
When are the sessions taking place?
​
Father Christmas and Mother Christmas will join us in the studio on November 15th and 16th, and our Peppermint Plaza (without Father Christmas) will take place on the Friday 21st and Sunday 23rd November. Both session types will take place at the Rockabye Baby Photography Studio located in St Marychurch in Torquay.

How long is the session?
​
Your visit to Father Christmas will last up to 15 minutes -which is longer than you will have at any grotto- and will be followed by some crafting with Mother Christmas so you should allocate about 25 minutes all together to your visit to the studio. This private experience will allow a magical feel with lots of time for your little one's questions as well as us getting those perfect photos.
The Peppermint Plaza sessions are up to 25 minutes, allowing various settings and family portraits as well as individual takes.

How much does a session cost?
​
The ticket price depends on your session choice. Time for Christmas with Father Christmas is is £75 per family (including one digital image and a present for each child) , while the Peppermint Plaza is £50 per family. The all inclusive package on top of the ticket price is an additional £100.
​
After your session you'll receive login details to your online gallery where you can choose your images and purchase a range of products. We offer photo enlargements, frames and canvas printing which make fabulous Christmas presents and family keepsakes.
​
Can extended families participate in the session?
​
The session is valid for siblings from one family only. If you wish to bring cousins or friends, please book one session per family next to each other. We are happy to discuss photographing everybody together and individually - this is subject to numbers and ages of the children- as long as it is arranged in advance.

Can I change my day or time?
​
Because our sessions usually sell out quickly and we only have Father Christmas for a limited amount of time, please note that all bookings are final.
​
How do I book?
​
If you're on our mailing list, you will receive an email with a booking link. Bookings open at 6 p.m. on Sunday 7th September to the mailing list, and at 8 p.m. to the general public on our social platform if any spaces are left.
​
What if I don't want my child to meet Father Christmas?
​
That is absolutely fine, we have the perfect option for you! Our Peppermint Plaza will welcome your little ones and give them the opportunity to enjoy festive roleplay in the most magical festive decor! We'll keep them busy and amused, offering fantastic opportunities to create those gorgeous festive images for your family.

All our Christmas sessions go on sale at 8pm on the 7th of September.
